benjamin hubert's quarry lamps for de la espada are beautiful. first he started with concrete, then cork and now marble. i like them like how i like foscarini x diesel's glas pendant. it looks totally different when switched on, the metal disappears into a glow of yellow luminous light.

Daniel - Emma

This couple creates such interesting collections. Previous collections include a set of brassy paperweights. These are the things architects like because they're so whole and complete in form.




The newest collection is titled Hemisphere. It includes within the different domed shapes, a brass paperweight, a wooden magnetic paper clip holder and containers of various sizes. The biggest dome is actually a light. I think they have a lot of fun coming up with these cute but still sophisticated collections.

Doshi Levien

These days, one of my design couple crushes would be Doshi Levien. This interview by Helena Ladeiro with Nipa Doshi is super. I'm really digging their collaborations with Moroso and how the Indian storytelling comes true in a subtle yet strong way.
