The Waterhouse

just looking at the public areas above makes me want to stay there...

a lovely new boutique hotel located at the banks of the Hangpu river in Shanghai by Neri + Hu Design and Research Office - The Waterboat House. This is by far my favourite project from Singaporean developer Loh Lik Peng. I'd love to stay here if I were going to the Shanghai Expo. The hotel is worked from an existing structure and contains only 19 guest rooms - an alternative respite to chain hotels with a romantic name to boot.
