Two sundays ago husband and I went to Lim's Arts and Living at Holland Village to spend off the last of our wedding vouchers. I'm not a big fan of the shop as most of the products lean towards the more traditional so-called Oriental look but I did find the perfect jellwery box with a simple clasp. It was the most unadorned and decorated wooden box there was, which was perfect for me of course

The Perfect Jewellery Box
Two sundays ago husband and I went to Lim's Arts and Living at Holland Village to spend off the last of our wedding vouchers. Stangelets
It's so difficult finding nice quirky things to fill your house with - designs that don't fit snugly into one category - balinese, minimalist, etc. so I really loved that Stranglets opened just as we were setting up house. They have just the appropriate designs to add a little spark in the corner and it's a great place to buy gifts. There are many items that I'm eyeing but for now one item we've bought is the Anglopoise 75 lamp for my study table - I admit that one day I would love the orignal Angloposie 1227 - but then again there are so many lamps that I love it would be really hard to choose. If I were a quirky collector of something - like how some people collect toy figurines or teapots, I think I would be a good contender for Collector of Lamp Fixtures.
