Time to head down to the bookshop - the next issue of Apartmento is out. One of my favourite magazines/book with articles about design and living with a relaxed style and sort of anti-glamourous design manifesto designed by Folch Studio.Sometimes it's wonderful to browse though glossy photoshoots and design write-ups of the Wallpaper kind but at times magazines like Apartmento make me feel so connected to design in that special non-pretentious manner. It features creative peoples' homes as they are, insightful and honest(and relatively long, i like!)interviews that are just as interested in the persons as the spaces and random artful features. The A5 size is just right and the matt texture of the pages makes it feel a little bit like a book more than a magazine. Apartmento is printed bi-annually.
