When I wander about Xtra at Park Mall there's sure to be one or two designers I come to know about. We particularly liked this lamp when they first brought it in last year. The Lumiere XXL designed by Rudolfo Dordoni for Foscarini is masculine due to the lamp shade of dark blown glass but feminine at the same time, for me, because of the sculptural lacquered aluminum legs - gold/bronze/copper - shade I love on any piece of furniture! Rudolfo Dordoni has designed a large range of items for many brands including Cappellini and Artemide. I've seen some of his pieces in publications and shops so know I now the designer.
The white version is rather sculptural in itself. I think that I will find myself writing alot about lighting - how difficult it is to find lighting fixtures that call out to your soul.
