Featuring the Infill House from studioMAS Architecture & Urban Design firm from Cape Town. The simple structure is a concrete frame with infills of brick and timber screens. I believe there is more sophistication in the appreciation of simple honest materials like these as opposed to the sometimes vulgar over-cladding of elaborate materials. Letting the house weather with time allows it to come alive. Maybe this allows us to be less fussy about keeping things meticulous which ultimately frees the mind.
