Paula Leen, I Love You
Dutch artist Paula Leen's home featured in Australian Vogue Nov/Dec 2008 remains one of my favourite inspirational homes. The latest issue of Livingetc Magazine features her home once more, with more lovely pictures - I bought the magazine just for this article. Mild shades of grey with lovely textures and sensitive juxtaposition of soft, hard and dreamy. It's austere but with a lived-in feel that whispers 'brave', 'soulful' and 'magic'.
I have just discovered that you can acquire her artwork for your home here at Lisa Fontanarosa Collection. Paula Leen's website Poetryworld sets the tone for her artwork/homeware which include rugs, throws, cushions, lamps and vases.

In the wonderful world of online design meandering, one world leads to another. Above mentioned Lisa Fontanarosa stocks a collection of handcrafted works from various lesser known artists. Scrolling through the collection, you can't help but feel a sense that art becomes accessible in the everyday through such pieces made with love.
Christian Lee's textile pieces are articulate and fun, marrying burlap and felt appliqued designs. What about some greyhounds in the garden?
Iranian artist Lily Latifi's room dividers/ curtains create poetry in any space.
