Astier de Vilatte

Everytime I walk about Strangelets I can't help but stand a little longer at the section featuring a selection of tableware from Astier de Vilatte. There's something a little romantic about the pieces made of glazed clay terracotta clay with it's milky white finish and black-burnt edges. Astier de Vilatte is from France and is inspired by 18th and 19th century designs. If you're feeling rather indulgent, I think it's perfectly fine to accessorise your dining table with titanium gold finish spoons or scoop your clam chowder from a shiny gold ladle.

Large 'Chat' Bowl

I fell in love with the star-shaped Etoile soup plate yesterday. And I don't know what a 'chocolate cup' is, but the name inspires some classy dessert for sure. Plus having a cat figurine look after your dish of yellow ginger fried mackeral would make dinner a little bit more fun.
